Initial Consultation

Your initial interview will be with the  office staff and a member  of our HR team

School Visit & Follow-up Interview

The second interview will take place at IBSM with Principal Barbara Cox. You’ll also get a good insight into the school and meet some of your future colleagues

Conclusion of the Contract

If everything works out for both sides, we look forward to signing the contract at our office!

Sydney

Sydney is one of our dedicated teachers who guides the 2nd-grade class through their school day with enthusiasm and warmth.

Part of IBSM since 2020
Sydney’s favorite activity:
“What I enjoy most about teaching is guiding children through a unit of inquiry. Every year, our units look a little different because they’re shaped by the individual interests, questions, and ideas of each group of children. What always stays the same is their curiosity about the world around them. I love that we never know exactly where our learning journey will take us—that sense of discovery is what makes inquiry-based learning so meaningful and exciting!”
Sydney’s Favorite Moment:
“One of my favorite moments is seeing the children grow into a true class community. From the start of the school year, we work together to develop a shared vision of what our class should look, sound, and feel like. Together, we create a warm and welcoming space where the children feel safe to be themselves, take risks, and know that mistakes are an important part of learning.”

Sonia

Sonia guides the first-graders through one of the most exciting phases of their lives—their first year of school. With patience, warmth, and a genuine understanding of each individual child, she creates a place where everyone feels safe and seen.

The Eckerl Family

IBSM has been run by Rainer Eckerl and his family since 2015. The family includes his wife, Jacqueline Gröger-Eckerl, and their two sons, Konstantin and Louis Eckerl.
