Once again this year, the International Bilingual School Munich (IBSM), together with the International Kids Campus (IKC) and MINIHAUS Munich, organized the “Christmas for Children of the Münchner Tafel” campaign, bringing special Christmas joy to many children from socially disadvantaged families.

Over the past few weeks, people at all locations have been collecting, packing and organizing with great dedication—all the gifts were presented at the MINIHAUS in Munich’s Trudering district. The results speak for themselves.

About 350 Christmas packages — a powerful gesture of solidarity

Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of families, children and employees, we were able to donate approximately 350 lovingly wrapped gifts to the Münchner Tafel. Each individual package symbolizes compassion, solidarity and the desire to bring joy to others during the Christmas season. Initiatives like this demonstrate just how much can be achieved when many small contributions come together.

Commitment That Touches the Heart

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the families who prepared gifts together with their children, as well as to our staff members who helped organize and support this initiative. The children’s participation was also especially meaningful; they demonstrated, quite naturally, what it means to think of others.

Sharing is part of Christmas

The “Christmas for Children of the Münchner Tafel” campaign is an important part of our educational work every year. It teaches children, in a relateable way, values such as helpfulness, responsibility and a sense of community — values that are important far beyond the Christmas season.

We would like to thank everyone involved for their wonderful support, and we are delighted that, once again this year, we were able to bring smiles to the faces of so many children together.

Merry Christmas, and thank you so much for this powerful gesture of solidarity!
