With a day full of joy, pride, and unforgettable moments, IBSM once again bid farewell to its fourth-graders this year. Together with their families, teachers, and the PTO, the students celebrated the successful completion of their elementary school years and the start of a new chapter.
The emotional highlight of the day came when the mortarboards—the traditional graduation caps—were tossed into the air together—a symbolic moment that marked the completion of an important milestone and the start of a new chapter.
The celebration offered many special moments. Our school administration surprised the children with a humorous skit in which they played the role of a fortune-teller and offered a tongue-in-cheek glimpse into each child’s future. Whether they become future scientists, artists, athletes, or entrepreneurs—the message was clear: the possibilities are endless.
Refreshments were also well taken care of. The PTO treated families, children, and staff to a selection of snacks and refreshments. This effort once again helped create the warm, family-like atmosphere that characterizes our school community.
One particularly moving part of the program was the Tree Hanging Ceremony. Each child tied a colored ribbon to a tree, leaving a visible reminder of their time at IBSM. The colorful ribbons represent memories, friendships, personal growth, and the many shared experiences of the past four years. At the same time, they symbolize hope and confidence for the new chapter in life that is now beginning.
Graduating from school always means saying goodbye—to familiar classrooms, cherished routines, and a daily life that has shaped so many years. At the same time, it marks the beginning of new adventures, new friendships, and new opportunities. It was precisely this mix of gratitude, pride, and anticipation that was palpable throughout the entire ceremony.

Dear fourth graders: We are incredibly proud of you. Take with you on your journey ahead the curiosity, courage, and joy of learning that you have developed here at IBSM.
